CHWSSC CONGRATULATES NEW MINISTER OF WATER DEVELOPMENT AND SANITATION AND NORTHERN AND MUCHINGA PROVINCE MINISTERS

Chambeshi Water Supply and Sanitation Company (ChWSSC) congratulates Mr. Elisha Matambo on his appointment as Minister of Water Development and Sanitation, Mr. Wedden Chileshe on his appointment as Minister for Northern Province, and Mr. Jairo Simbeye on his appointment as Minister for Muchinga Province.
The company welcomes Mr. Matambo's appointment to the ministry responsible for the water supply and sanitation sector and reaffirms its commitment to working with the ministry and other stakeholders to advance access to quality, affordable and sustainable water supply and sanitation services.
ChWSSC particularly congratulates Mr. Chileshe, Member of Parliament for Mporokoso and the company's immediate past Board Chairperson, on his appointment as Minister for Northern Province.
During his tenure as Board Chairperson, Mr. Chileshe was part of the company's leadership and governance structure, providing oversight and guidance in the execution of its mandate. His appointment as Provincial Minister is an important development for Northern Province, where access to reliable water supply and adequate sanitation services remains essential to public health, livelihoods and socio-economic development.
